DIGITAL CINEMA PRESENTATION

There is no better way to celebrate actor/singer/dancer (and Dame in the Order of the British Empire!) Olivia Newton-John than with a screening of her biggest hit, GREASE. Teenager Danny (John Travolta) and visiting Australian Sandy (Dame Olivia) meet on a beach and fall in love. But is it only a summer fling? Not when Sandy's folks decide to stay in the U.S. and enroll her in the same high school as Danny. Soon, sugarcoated Sandy abandons her dresses for leather and lycra, dancing and singing and rebelling with the best of the Rydell High Greasers. Set in the summer of 1958, a full two decades and worlds apart from disco glitterball 1978, Grease was a monumental smash when it was released, and quickly became the biggest musical of all-time. The chemistry between Travolta and Newton-John was magnetic, and their songs and dances captivated a nation weary of government corruption and inflation (sound familiar?) Come and celebrate one of our favorite singers, Olivia Newton-John with this super fun screening
