Perhaps the most widely loved and well known film of director Richard Linklater’s illustrious career, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn (Jack Black) at the tail end of his career as a guitarist, when his onstage antics bring his life in band No Vacancy to a screeching halt. Now the pariah of his bandmates, Finn is kicked out the band and is left searching for what’s next in an endless sea of doubt and fruitless job applications. After Dewey hatches a plan to impersonate his roommate Ned Schneebly (Mike White), he is hired as a substitute teacher at a prep school. Upon realizing the musical talents of some of his students, Dewey arrives at the ultimate way to get back at his former bandmates and have the final say in his legacy:  he’ll create a band of his students and defeat No Vacancy at the Battle of The Bands. But can Dewey get the hang of this whole teaching thing? How long will it be before he’s found out? Come see for yourself! School of Rock is sure to be a roaring good time full of toe-tappers and knee-slappers; and whether you jam out alone or bring the whole family, this one is a surefire way to get the Heights rockin’!
