Heights Theatre 1933 March 3, 1933. It was the height of the great depression and a labor dispute between two projectionist unions resulted in the dropping of a bomb in front of the Heights at 3:00AM. This Minneapolis Journal photo was used to replicate the original marquee sign that is now on the front of the Heights.

The Womanless Wedding June 8, 1928. “THE WOMANLESS WEDDING” a fundraiser put on by the Community Methodist Church at the Heights. Some prominent Northeast businessmen and politicians participated in this event. See if you can locate Judge Leonard Keyes and Heights Theatre builder and Brewery giant Arthur Gluek.
