The 25 horsepower blower, which supplies the pressurized air which the pipes to use to produce sound. |
The pressure regulators adjust the pressure from the blower to the pressure which the pipes use. Mounted on top are the tremolos, which give the organ vibrato. |
This is Edward Copeland, crew chief for the installation of the organ by the Land O’ Lakes Theatre Organ Society. These are some the pipes of the organ, the one closest to Edward is the Post Horn, which has a bright trumpet like sound. |
These are the swell shades, which are used to control the volume of the organ. Directly adjacent to the shades are the pipes of the Vox Humana. |
This is the Xylophone, which plays from the console. Each mallet has a small bellows attached to it, which when it inflates, causes the mallet to strike the bar. |
This is the piano, which plays from the keyboards of the organ. |
This is the toy counter, which has the rhythm instruments. The organist controls this from the lowest keyboard or the pedals. Right to left: Castenettes, Tambourine, Wood Block, Cow Bell, Tap Cymble, and Snare Drum. |
