DIGITAL CINEMA PRESENTATION

Aldrich crafted one of the all-time great noirs, at once a thrilling crime flick and a critique of tough-guy heroics (and specifically Mickey Spillane's eponymous novel). Gumshoe Mike Hammer (Minneapolis native Ralph Meeker) picks up a half-naked hitchhiker, who leads him to a mysterious glowing briefcase, and a possible police cover-up. Kiss Me Deadly influenced countless films, including Breathless, Repo Man, Pulp Fiction, and even Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Presented by The Heights Theater and The Trylon Cinema.

DCP courtesy Park Circus.
